Help a crèche in Diepsloot
Mandy Brennan (whose son Damion is an ex-pupil of our school) is driving a charity event in aid of Sophie’s Day Care Haven – a crèche in Diepsloot, run for mostly kids 0-3 years old. Mandy has invited Unity College to play a part in helping the crèche by donating non-perishable food e.g. porridge, rooibos tea, Nido milk, Oros, beans, spaghetti, cans of chopped tomato etc.
Let’s show our support to this worthy cause! Please send donations to teacher Vanessa in the Junior Phase before Wednesday, 15 May.
Upcoming Sports Day – how can you help?
Dear parents and friends,
The annual Sports Day will take place on Saturday, 11 May from 09:00 to 12:00. The PTA will need help with selling food and cold drinks on the day. We would also like to sell raffle tickets for a Mother’s Day hamper, since it is Mother’s Day the following day.

Easter Hamper winner
Thank you to everyone who downloaded the Karri app and bought tickets for the raffle. We raised R1100 for our school. The lucky winner of the hamper was Aarav Narsai.
