On Tuesday 7 August Unity College held a Shadow-shift Event at Greywolf Spur, Broadacres.
Learners in the Senior Phase shadowed waiters as they took orders and delivered food to tables. This event forms part of Unity College’s work experience programme. As always the evening was well supported by Unity parents, staff and friends and especially by our loyal friends at the Greywolf Spur who commit 10% (R1966.29) of the evening’s takings to the School. In addition learners shared the tips (R1 500) received on the night – an added bonus!
A sweet hamper and a R500 meal voucher for any Baron restaurant were raffled which also brought the school a further R2 000.00. The lucky winners were Dean Gerber and Sharon Walker, respectively.
