We thoroughly enjoyed having the moms visit us for a spoil day on Friday 31 May. It was great to provide an opportunity for our mothers to have a much needed breather, spend some time connecting with each other, playing fun games and making calming play dough to use at home when needed.
We hope you enjoyed the morning and reflected on the amazing job you are doing as mothers of our special learners. If you ever need reminding – here is the link to the YouTube video that was shared on the day.
Thank you to Deidre Kotze, Dalila Kokolis and Mandy Brennan who have graciously offered to champion the “Unity College Moms That Care” group (UMTC)* and to Mr Visser for planting this seed. We are sure that this is going to bloom into an amazing addition to our Unity family!

Note to the dads: We have not forgotten about you! Save the date for a get-together on 17 August to watch rugby on a big screen.
Also, if you are interested in meeting up with other parents of children with various disabilities and/or special needs, the Parent Reality Support Group meets bi-monthly in Pretoria. Their next event is on 13 July. Find out more.
