Dear Parents and Friends of the School
As an independent, not-for-profit special needs school, Unity College runs on a very tight budget without any state funding. In order for our learners to receive adequate attention, we need to keep the number of children in each class as low as possible. At the same time, the school contends with higher costs in order to provide the added levels of support each learner requires. The bottom line? School fees are expensive and prohibits large sectors of our society from being able to access the facilities and educational offering.
We want to promote our Legacy Fund once again – a project that was started to financially assist families who cannot afford to pay full school fees. And who better to advocate for our school than you, our parents and friends, who have had first-hand experience of the difference Unity College can make in the life of a special needs learner?
We’re asking you to please share this document with your companies and within your network to see if there is anyone interested in partnering with Unity College to make a significant difference in a child’s life. If there’s more to be discussed, we are standing by for that very important call.
