Past-pupil Tiffany Perreira
Past pupil Tiffany Perreira travels extensively with her mom, Dawn, as she visits churches across our nation and into other nations as well. She has had the privilege of going to Zimbabwe twice this year, as well as Plettenburg Bay and four times to Kwa-Zulu Natal. This month Tiffany will be flying with Dawn to Germany to visit family and then to Holland to visit two churches there. She trains three times a week with her swimming squad, does hip-hop dance classes once a week and attends a cooking school once a month in Pretoria.

Kodi Lee wins AGT 2019
By now, everyone knows that Kodi Lee won Season 14 of America’s Got Talent. 22-year old Kodi is legally blind and has autism. He is one of only approximately 25 people in the world today who is a musical savant: he has an audio photographic memory, in which he can recall music he hears after just one listen, and he sings with perfect pitch. An unbelievable gift in itself, but his musical expression and prowess top even that. His musical repertoire ranges from rock to jazz, to R&B and pop. Plus his mastery of the classics such as Bach, Chopin, Mozart and the list goes on. He literally has a library of songs in his mind that would rival any jukebox. But he doesn’t stop there. He recently has picked up tap dancing and he continues to amaze with his musical expression through dance and vocalization.

Drama – Joshua has performed in numerous plays, the best performance was being one of the ugly sisters in Cinderella. He also likes ice skating, swimming, going to Bounce, and listening to music.
What fun activities do you like to do as a family?
Family gatherings are the best! We also enjoy going to the movies.
What therapies or interventions have benefitted Joshua the most?
Group sessions with Shelagh Popplewell (counsellor).
What are your dreams for your child?
To be a capable independent adult.
