*Unfortunately the gala has been postponed/cancelled for the date of Monday 11 March 2019 due to organisational and administrative challenges such as;

Shortage of volunteers to assist in running the gala, Clash with World Summer Games logistics, unavailability of SOSA personnel to oversee the gala, and many others

However, Ellis Park swimming pool will be available and open on the day for those that wants to train athletes, but will do so in their accountable and responsible self.
