Dear Parents, Staff & Learners,
Our third term started at a very fast and busy pace. The second set of IDPs of the year are being conducted while all our leaners are also busy preparing and rehearsing for the end of year concert.
One of our highlights for the year, the Birthday Market Day, took place on Saturday, 31 August. I want to compliment our staff and learners on a very successful day. Thank you too to our parents for their support and attendance on the day.
On 14 September, Unity will be hosting a Lego Expo. This day promises to be filled with lots of fun and excitement. Please encourage your friends and family to attend this event.
Sadly we had to cancel our Soap Box Derby due to a lack of support and sponsorship. Thank you for those of you who did make donations. Please indicate to Kay whether you would require a refund or would make a donation to the school.
I want to make an earnest appeal to parents to please support all the events at the school. Our events calendar is not excessive and these functions are planned and designed to enhance school spirit among our learners and their families.
Our Bocce court is nearing completion and this will allow Unity College to host inter-school competitions. Our maintenance team is continually busy with repairs and upgrade around the school.
I am happy to report that enquiries and enrollment interviews have been increasing drastically. The number of Marketing events/activities that have been held over the course of the last number of months, are paying dividends.
