By Anita Wylie. The Senior Camp, held 19-22 April 2016 at Konka (between Magaliesberg and Rustenburg) was a great success. Except for Thursday morning, the weather was good. The change of date to April was a good decision, given how hot it was in February this year.
The learners had a lot of fun in activities including team games, strategy games, physical exercise and challenges such as night walks, archery, wall climbing and zip lining, to name some. Teamwork is always a focus. My cellphone app. indicates that we walked in excess of 28 km over the four days. Well done, Seniors! The food was very good and plentiful, yet the tuck shop was still in business! That is camp for you!
Thanks to our facilitators KG and Mohau, and to Konka for their excellent service, as always.
